SightsApp provides this Privacy Policy to help you make an informed decision about whether to use or continue using the SightsApp Site, SightsApp Software and/or the SightsApp Service. If you do not agree to our practices, please do not use the SightsApp Site, SightsApp Software,or SightsApp Service.

Please note that any Status Submissions or other content posted at the direction or discretion of users of the SightsApp Service becomes published content and is not considered personally identifiable information subject to this Privacy Policy.
What Does This Privacy Policy Cover?
This Privacy Policy is part of SightsApp’s Terms of Service and covers the treatment of user information, including personally identifying information, obtained by SightsApp, including information obtained when you access the SightsApp’s Site, use the SightsApp Service or any other software provided by SightsApp.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of companies that SightsApp does not own or control, or to individuals whom SightsApp does not employ or manage, including any of the third parties to which SightsApp may disclose user information as set forth in this Privacy Policy.
SightApp service Commitment To Data Security
SightsApp uses commercially reasonable physical, managerial, and technical safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of your personal information. We cannot, however, ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to SightsApp and you do so at your own risk. Using unsecured wifi or other unprotected networks to submit messages through the SightsApp Service is never recommended. Once we receive your transmission of information, SightsApp makes commercially reasonable efforts to ensure the security of our systems. However, please note that this is not a guarantee that such information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards. If SightsApp learns of a security systems breach, then we may attempt to notify you electronically so that you can take appropriate protective steps. SightsApp may post a notice on the SightsApp Site or through the SightsApp Service if a security breach occurs.
The Information SightsApp Collects
SightsApp may obtain the following types of information from or concerning you or your mobile phone device, which may include information that can be used to identify you as specified below (“Personally Identifying Information”):
Account Information
Information required when setting up an Account, such as your mobile phone number, your name, email address or information required to create a profile. Bear in mind that false, incorrect, or out-dated information may impair SightsApp’s ability to provide you with the Services and to contact you when necessary. SightsApp will explicitly indicate the fields for mandatory completion. If you do not enter the requisite data in these fields, you may not be able to register your Account or to be provided with certain features; and/or
Information that you choose to share with SightsApp
information that you choose to share with SightsApp, including a username you have chosen, reports associated with your username, phone number, “home” or “work”, other “favorites”, search queries, calendar information (if you choose to activate and use certain Service features like time to leave reminders) and files you have uploaded to the service, including voice and audio files and media files; and/or
Communication which you choose to conduct through the SightsApp Services
if you choose to use SightsApp to communicate with other SightsApp users or third parties through the SightsApp Services, such as chat messages or sending pinned locations on the SightsApp platform. We may also collect information when you exchange communication with SightsApp, for example, if you submit a request, contact SightsApp’s support team, or report a violation to the abuse team; and/or
Group Location-Alerts feature
If you choose to use the "group location-alerts" feature, give SightsApp access to your location, also when the app is closed or not in use. SightsApp never saves your location information and does not share your location with anyone. Only when the app recognizes that you have reached to the decided location, and only if you approved your participation, a notification will be sent to the group; and/or
